Twin Peaks: The Return Cast

FBI Deputy Director Gordon Cole reveals to Albert and Tammy that he, Agent Cooper and Major Briggs devised a secret plan to find Judy, an extreme negative force originally known as ‘Jowday’; Gordon has also learnt from his informant, Ray, that ‘Cooper’ is looking for coordinates. The Las Vegas FBI call Gordon from ‘Dougie’s empty hospital room, and Bushnell Mullins passes on the message Cooper left for Gordon. Learning that Dougie is Cooper, and is heading for the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s station, Gordon mobilises the ‘Blue Rose’ task force. At the ‘Great Northern Hotel’, Ben Horne receives a call from Wyoming police station, who have found his naked bother, Jerry. Mr C follows the coordinates to ‘Jack Rabbit's Palace’ and onto Glastonbury Grove, where he sees a vortex in the sky; he is transported to the cinema in the strange building, but the Giant and Major Briggs trap him, and send him to the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department instead. Here he is mistaken for Agent Cooper, until his refusal of coffee makes Andy suspicious. Chad uses a skeleton key hidden in his shoe to escape his cell; he pulls a gun on Andy, but Freddie Sykes uses his power-glove to punch his cell door in Chad’s face, allowing Andy to apprehend him. While Sheriff Frank Truman questions ‘Cooper’, he receives a call from the real agent Cooper; his cover blow, the doppelgänger draws a gun - but is shot by Lucy. As Andy, Hawk and the cell prisoners arrive, Woodsmen materialise and tear at Mr C’s body, releasing a large orb containing Bob. Cooper, the FBI and the Mitchums arrive at the station. After Cooper places the Owl Cave ring on his duplicate’s finger, he is attacked by Bob, but Freddie intervenes and a fight ensues; after a brutal battle, Freddie shatters Bob’s orb with a powerful punch. Mr C’s body vanishes back to the Black Lodge. Cooper retrieves his old hotel room key from Frank, and enjoys a happy reunion with Gordon. After touching palms with Cooper, Naido transforms into the real Diane, and they share a kiss. As the clock sticks at 2:53, Cooper, Diane and Gordon enter a black void that transports them to the ‘Great Northern Hotel’; bidding goodbye to his friends, Cooper unlocks the boiler room with his key, and meets Mike inside. Mike leads Cooper through the Black Lodge to the motel, where they meet the Jeffries/kettle machine. At Cooper’s request to find Judy, Jeffries creates a portal to February 2nd 1989, the night Laura Palmer died. Cooper is transported to the Twin Peaks woods at night, where he sees James Hurley and Laura Palmer. Glimpsing Cooper nearby, Laura asks James to take her home; but then falls off his bike, and runs back into the woods. Laura meets Cooper and recognises him from a dream; their encounter prevents Laura from meeting with Leo Johnson, Jacques Renault and Ronette Pulaski, and history changes: the next morning, Laura’s plastic-wrapped corpse vanishes from the shore, allowing Pete Martell to enjoy his fishing. At the Palmers’ house, a distraught Sarah tries in vain to destroy Laura’s photograph. Cooper leads Laura through the woods, but she vanishes with a terrible scream…
